David preaching about how the way Jesus deals with Peter is so completely different from our approaches to handling people. The context: Just after Peter declares you are the Christ, he starts telling the Christ not to go to Jerusalem. In full view of the other disciples Jesus rebukes him and says “Get behind me Satan.” Only six days later Peter is chosen to be one of the three who get to experience the transfiguration and see Jesus in all his glory.
