Called+Empowered in KPK, Pakistan

Throughout the year, I have been in often weekly contact with our new free+healed regional coordinators. The Lord has given us a young and dynamic couple and a strategy for reaching Christians in the unreached and restricted areas of the North. Our goal is to call and empower emerging leaders from a number of different key towns in KPK and so kick-start a revival movement initially within the church.

Jesus described his disciples as the salt of the earth, yet warned that tasteless salt is useless. Before the day of Pentecost, the disciples who had spent 3 years learning from Jesus were hiding behind closed doors for fear of the Jews. They were salt without the flavour. That is a picture of many of the churches that were established during the colonial era. Now, following the rise of radical Islam, there is an urgent need for revival within the church and a new generation of indigenous spirit-filled evangelists to reach the towns and valleys of KPK.

Now, this August, we will be returning for a 4-day leaders’ training conference and a series of revival meetings in churches in some of the main towns around Peshawar.
