In KPK, Pakistan, we are building a new interdenominational network of pastors, leaders and evangelists that will be equipped with teaching and empowered by the Holy Spirit to reach, first the nominal Christian community, and then people of other faiths. We are pursuing this goal with media resources, mentoring and training and outreach events. In 2025 we visited for the second time and reached around town that was closed for foreign evangelists for 32 years.

free+healed’s in KPK, Pakistan with first trip to Swat
In August 2025, I travelled to KPK with Dario Zack from Switzerland. With our local team, we conducted a 3-day training for some 60 people and two healing revival meetings in strategic locations. Impactful team coaching, home visits and documentary film work filled the rest of our time.
Some people, like Shazia (below) testified to the lasting changes they experienced since our first visit last year, and many new and notable miracles of healing and deliverance occurred.
The full report of the trip, including the story of how Samson’s heart was healed and his son’s vision was restored follows below.

Heavenly moments in the clouds
Our Called+Empowered training camp in the mountains was attended by 60 people including pastors from various denominations, some youth leaders, teachers and nurses. But we also had many who are nothing in the eyes of the world but have a huge heart to spread the Gospel of Jesus. For example, Irfan, who used to be a toilet attendant in Swat got a bank loan for a Rikshaw after he committed to being a free+healed evangelist.
After a long scorching summer, everyone appreciated the cool mountain air, but the effect of the teaching was even more refreshing. At first, people kept saying how the new spiritual revelations I was sharing were encouraging them. But as hearts softened and we moved deeper into forgiveness, inner healing and deliverance the nature of the feedback shifted. Many were getting healed and restored physically and emotionally. One example is Magaret, who asked for prayer for her uterus. She felt God operating on her during the prayer. During the following night she passed out a series of blood clots, which she took as a sign of God’s healing power at work.
The Bajur curfew
When we started our process of building a revival network to reach KPK, Saqib’s first mission trip was to the city of Bajaur. The Lord confirmed the message through miracles and the blessing of the Holy Spirit and five men committed to working with us to reach their community. A few days before they were due to join us for the training camp the army launched an anti-Taliban operation and the whole area was put under a curfew. All travel was forbidden. Fortunately, one of the team overcame his fear of breaking the curfew and managed to join us by walking long distances and hitching rides in an ambulance and on motorbikes. Thus Shahbaz was able to join us for the training days in Murree and outreach in Swat.

Evangelist Shahbaz
“My stressed family relationships were healed and I learnt so much through this training”.
Camp cut short because of strike
Our four-day training in Murree was cut short on the third day by the news of a national strike. “There will be roadblocks on all the major routes and they could last for days. So, we must tell people to pack and gather for a final blessing in 30 minutes. Then we will eat and leave” said Saqib calmly.
In the final session the power of the Lord came heavily on me. I asked the Holy Spirit to do in 20 minutes what had been planned for the final day and he did. Many people were filled with the Spirit and the daughter of one pastor manifested and got delivered from a spirit that caused her to have continuous headaches.
Since the camp many reports having returned home, lighter, happier and with a passion to share Jesus wherever they are. We will support them with video teachings and regular WhatsApp group meetings and live gatherings.

Evangelist Emmanuel testifies
“By joining free+healed I was set free from suicidal worries about my debts and delivered from a spirit of anger”.

The first foreign preacher permitted in Swat-Mingora for 32 years
Swat-Mingora is a popular Pakistani tourist destination known for its picturesque mountains and river. However, the local Pashtun hospitality is overshadowed by the strong influence of the Taliban, which rose during the decades of the conflict in Afghanistan. In many towns of Pakistan there is a visible Christian community but in Swat the few Christian families live unnoticed and scattered among the Muslims. Thanks to the efforts of our mobilisation team, we were able to gather most of the Christian families together for a healing revival meeting.

Healing and deliverance for a whole family
During the loud and vibrant worship, I experienced a stabbing pain in my foot. Moments later, we were told that we would have to switch off the amplifiers and wait silently for the Muslim adhan call to prayer that was sounding from the Mosque.
I opted to start preaching without amplification. I could not wait to pray for people with foot pain and so after a brief introduction I called for anyone with foot pain. Six people came forward. I had explained that God works through believers and that we have come to empower them to do the same works that Christ did (John 14:12). So, to illustrate, I picked an old man from the crowd and had him pray for the feet. All six declared that their pain was healed and one old lady was even jumping vigorously to demonstrate the change. After the main message, the team and I prayed for many people, and a number of notable miracles happened.
Rahul, eight-years old had his vision restored. He no longer needs to wear his thick glasses. His father, Samson, had had a heart-attack and his heart efficiency was only 30%. When I laid hands on him, he cried out in terrible pain and fell to the ground clutching his heart. I rebuked the spirit behind his heart problems and he soon rose and announced that his heart was fully healed.
Finally, a little girl called Marjan was bought to me for a blessing. As I looked at her, I knew I had to say that she will be a prophet of influence in the region. But I was overwhelmed with such intense emotion, that I had to fight to say these words aloud. As I laid hands on her the power of God fell on her and she was slain in the spirit.
Afterwards, I was told that all these people were from one family and that they were the in-laws of a church leader who was fighting the work of free+healed in KPK.

The mysterious cancellation
Talking of opposition, the night before the Swat meeting, I dreamt about a battle with the religious spirit and a stabbing the head of a serpent, which continued to talk. The following night, I had a warning dream about spies, corrupt officials and a man inviting a lady into his room to take inappropriate photos.
In the morning the organising pastor called saying that the army was cancelling the event. The reasons he gave were not very logical. So Saqib called a Major he knew and was told that our organising partners, the Church of Pakistan, had failed to submit some necessary documentation. But the Pastor gave various ever-changing reasons why the army had broken its word. One explanation that matched with my dream about spying, was that the Intelligence Services had stopped the meeting in the army base because of our documentary film work. But what did the other elements of the dream mean?
Plan B – for better
When things don’t go according to plan, understanding what really happened matters as we learn to steward time and resources more effectively. When plans fail because mistakes were made, people need to own their failures but in honor-shame cultures, establishing a heavenly truth-grace culture takes patience.
One of the ways that we help people to own their mistakes is to show how God can bring good out of every bad situation. Knowing that he has a plan is comforting. Knowing some of the pieces of his plan allows us to plan with him with calm assurance.
In this case, we declined the option to relocate the Malakhand Healing meeting to an expensive private hall and opted to go for some follow-up home visits. I felt we should visit Samson, so Saqib called him and asked him to take leave from work and wait at his home. When we arrived, we found his son wearing his glasses again. An aunt who had not come to the meeting had doubted his healing and insisted he wear them. Dario spoke with her and she confessed her need for healing from cysts and deliverance from witchcraft. Then another aunt arrived and asked for prayer for healing from cancer.
After filming testimonies with Samon and the children, I began to pray for both ladies. The one who had dabbled in witchcraft began to vomit. The other collapsed, doubled up in pain and began crying desperately for her father to help her. We learnt that for many years, she was tormented by dreams of a certain man would come and abuse her sexually. We were able to cast out numerous evil spirits from her life and help her get started on the path to restoration.
Now the rest of my dream made sense. The Lord wanted me to know that the deliverance of this precious lady was his priority for us that day.
Healing of the memories for a whole community

Crusade at St Paul’s Mardan
Helping the community forgive and experience healing and deliverance.
Mardan crusade and church service
The first public healing crusade in the grounds of the church in Mardan since the fire in 2012 was wonderful. There were joyful reunions with people that we featured in the last documentary, like Florena whose eyesight was healed last year and has never worn her glasses again. And the team from Bajaur could finally join us.
During the open-air on Saturday night and during the church service on Sunday, I invited the crowd to forgive those who had destroyed their property and led them in a time of mass inner healing. The power of God was working and many were touched in their seats and in the extended time of ministry that followed the message. Again delightfully, God was touching whole families: a sister got healed of a shoulder issue, while her brothers both had their first experiences of the Holy Spirit.

Many were touched and filled with the Holy Spirit
In the conference, open-airs and the final church service, many experienced a powerful touch of God

A week later ….
Swat flood catastrophe
A week after my return from Swat, the city and surroundings were hit by devastating floods. The pretty rivers turned into deadly muddy torrents that swept away whole buildings and claimed hundreds of lives. Cars were floating down the street where we had parked for the meeting. Rohit Shareef, the brother of Irfan, one of our evangelists, who helped organise our healing meeting suffered second degree burns to his hands when the floods entered the electrical system of his home. Brother Irfan’s new Rikshaw was buried in mud.
This weekend we will send a small team to visit the church in Swat to encourage them spiritually and bring some practical relief.
The destruction is devastating
The video gives an impression of the force of water that suddenly flooded streets we were walking on only a week earlier.
