Activities in 2025
The big picture – Calling and Empowering
The strategy God has given us is to call and empower Christians to do the same works that Jesus did (John 14:12) by the power of the Holy Spirit. And in 2025 we have been able to take this message to new places and have seen the Spirit work mightily in the events we have organised and in the lives of the individuals we have been working with.
Our weekly “Testimonies+Takeaways” series is giving you a taste of the impact we are having in Pakistan, and our new Called+Empowered film – “Swat Finally” – will make the significance of this work even more tangible. I have some similar miracle testimonies from my trip to Zambia and Zimbabwe; one example is the testimony of Jane that I recently posted to our YouTube channel.
Blind faith in the film process
We give glory to God for both the content and the production process of the new Called+Empowered 4 documentary. Again I am amazed at how God has helped us take our film work to the next level. We go to minister first and the goal of film-making is secondary. So we can’t always show the most dramatic material. Furthermore, I don’t speak any Urdu, so directing interviews is like a deaf person conducting an orchestra or a blind man painting a portrait. However, with the Holy Spirit leading all involved and new developments in AI translaiton, we have been able to make a film that is already touching Urdu speakers deeply and fanning the flames of revival in KPK, Pakistan.
We premiered it in Pakistan in front of 120 people in December. The response was fantastic. There was spontaneous applause, tears, and glory to God in the highest. Further screenings were immediately organised, and now more pastors want to show the film to their people.
Home base activities
While at home in Switzerland, my time is spent preparing trips and teaching, mentoring, and discipleship, both online and locally; ministering to individuals and at some events; and working on our web platforms. Editing and tasks related to our film work are also time-consuming but essential in today’s visually driven world. See our ministry channel trailer.
In early 2025, I translated FaithTech into German, set up the online-shop for digital downloads, produced a lot more short- and long-form social media content, and worked on the outline and some core team relationships for Geistreich. The vision is to help people develop their abilities to think both spiritually and logically. The vision is to have a tool for outreach and nation-building, but I am waiting on the Lord before moving ahead with that project.
Opportunities ahead
Following the premiere of the new film in Pakistan, the Bishop of KPK, Church of Pakistan, said he would gather all his pastors for a free+healed training during my next visit.
Meanwhile, in Zambia, where I taught for a week in July and filmed interviews with a number of influential national leaders (Youtube Playlist), we have similar invitations. Bishops with thousands of pastors in their networks are inviting me to return to impart teaching and spiritual gifts.
In both countries, the favour is there and the doors are open, but the communities we go to serve are desperately poor, and so we need people willing to partner with us to seize these opportunities.
Challenging relief norms
A church in Australia was inspired by seeing what we are doing in KPK. They have started to partner and donate, especially in the area of disaster relief and helping the needy. To facilitate this partnership and the further growth of the work, we are now in the process of registering f+h Pakistan.
Most Christian relief organisations give aid hoping that the recipients will ask about the motivation of the donors. But we are declaring our motivation upfront. Jesus didn’t waste time in his conversation with the Samaritan woman. He told her upfront about his living water and ministered to her supernaturally during their very first encounter.
We want f+h Pakistan to follow this pattern. But that is only possible when people are filled with the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, there is a purification and rethinking that needs to happen within the church before the Body of Christ can walk in this kind of authority.
That is why I spend a lot of time online with my key leaders, building trust and establishing the work on solid spiritual foundations.
Tent-making no more
In 2020 I had a dream that I ended up discussing with a complete stranger. They interpreted the dream and the numbers it contained to cautiously suggest that after three years, the Lord would take away my ability to support myself using my worldly qualifications and knowledge, and I would be consecrated for ministry.
I actually forgot about the dream and the prophetic interpretation until it surfaced by chance this morning. But in hindsight, this is exactly what happened. Within three years of that dream, AI was destroying the market I was working in, and almost all my freelance work disappeared. To make things very clear, even the people who knew me and hired me were losing their jobs.
At the same time, God led me to write Called+Empowered, and as I began to teach the lessons in that book in late 2022, the anointing multiplied. We saw blind eyes open, the lame walk, and in some cases, like shoulder problems, we were seeing 100% healing rates during mission trips.
Developing our structure
From the beginning, free+healed has been built on a simple conviction: spiritual fruit comes before structure. Discipleship comes before buildings, and mission impact before organisations.
For the past 15 years, this has shaped how the work has grown. Today, the fruit is increasingly visible, the work is expanding, and more people are stepping in—practically and financially. This now calls for clearer financial and organisational foundations. In Pakistan, we are establishing a foundation; in Switzerland, we are taking the next structural steps. Until now, much of the work was funded through my company, but with my consecration for mission, we need a new approach.
So last week I met with a Swiss mission organisation to explore a potential partnership. We are now meditating on the very positive outcome of that meeting and expect to announce a decision in the near future. Either way, all donations given to support the work of free+healed will soon be tax-deductible.
Would you please consider making a monthly contribution to support the work of free+healed?
