Persecution, revival and the works of Jesus

A life of daily dependence on God helps us to focus on what is really important in our relationship with God and people.

That is why I have learned so much working with Pastor Ghaffar Bhatti from Pakistan. Together we have gone through many hair-raising trials, but we have also seen blind eyes being opened and lame children being able to walk, countless people being set free, people’s lives being permanently changed and the church being revitalized. Now I am happy to announce that Pastor Ghaffar Bhatti will be coming to Europe in November.

Why is this important for Europeans?

Although Christians in Pakistan are protected by the constitution, it is not uncommon for angry mobs, incited by false rumors of blasphemy, to attack Christian homes or churches. That is why the church in Pakistan needs our prayers. But we can also learn a lot from the leaders who have been purified in the fire of persecution and tribulation. Finally, understanding what is happening in Pakistan is a sober warning of what Europe may one day face if Christians are not called and empowered to reach the unreached in our nations in the power of the Holy Spirit.
